Pattern
The ask
Pattern (Mentle Inc.), recognizing the importance of a compelling user interface in their mental health app, sought a design partner who could completely overhaul their existing UI. The objective was to create a user-friendly, visually appealing interface that would encourage users to engage more deeply with the app. The challenge was to design a UI that is both empathetic and functional, ensuring that users feel supported and understood.
The solution
In my role as the lead UX/UI designer, I embarked on a complete redesign of the Pattern app with a focus on user-centered design. The process began with in-depth user research to understand the needs and preferences of our target audience. I then crafted a new interface that features a sleek, modern aesthetic combined with intuitive navigation. Key improvements included streamlined access to essential features, personalized user journeys, and interactive elements that enhance engagement. Throughout the development process, I collaborated closely with the development team, incorporating user feedback through iterative testing to ensure that the final product was both visually appealing and highly functional.
The impact
As the development of the redesigned Pattern app progresses, initial user testing and feedback have shown promising results. Users have responded positively to the improved ease of navigation and the modern, engaging design. Anticipated outcomes include increased user satisfaction and engagement, which are crucial for the app’s success in the competitive mental health tech market. By focusing on creating a high-quality, user-friendly product, the redesign is set to position Pattern as a leading innovator in digital mental health solutions, paving the way for future growth and success.
